hi guys

looking for opinions on the 9'3, haven't found anything bad on the old google
looking at buying one as there are some good priced ones on sale and have been
contemplating about getting a new board for a while, want it just for surfing as i have other boards for paddling and more allround style for small days, wondering if it would be a bit small as i am weighing in at 110kg,(loosing weight), your views would be much appreciated

thanks guys

Jarryd

hey mate,

where are you based? i can give you a demo on it if you like if your in sydney, newy or port stephens.

its worth getting, stable, strong, good cross over from flat to surf.

The 9.3 subby is without doubt one of the best sups ever made. They are made for someone your size and are a superb allround smaller sup and possibly the fastest board you will ever ride. They are heavy in comparison to most modern sups of similar size, but what you lose in lightness you more than make up for in build quality and durability.
If I had the $ I would gladly have one in my quiver again.

I assume you guys are talking about the 2011 model 9'3" Sub Vector (currently selling for $899???

Can anyone share their thoughts and comparisons between this (older) model and the new 9'4" Forward Vee Sub Vector?

the 9'4 will be alot faster and down the line, first time i used it i got it out of the lip on a small wave cause it produced so much speed. there about 8kg. looks great surfs well very stable for how wide and the price is good to. if your looking for more performance than the 9'3 sv but want to stick to around that size the 9'4 is the way to go!

cheers
