Hi Peeps,

A little something we've been working on of late.

The video in the first part of the vid, is some footage I shot back in October on the Swan River during a 10km paddle.

We can record your technique and give it to you on memory stick or critique your technique in house. We can also video a run over a given distance and then start the Ergo to run over the same distance to have a real "Virtual training partner"

The possibilities are endless

Do we have one of these in Sydney anyone, might be fun for a play?

Great stuff Darren! The original sup video game! Maybe you should talk to Nintendo about setting it up at a new Wii game.

Is it just the go pro footage on the tv screen or are you a genius and have managed to hook it up to the ergo to play in real time?
Was thinking how cool it would be if you could film a set distance course and link it up to the Sup Ergo computer to take into account your paddling speed so the footage moved at whatever pace you were paddling. You could race yourself and others to certain landmarks (even when the weather outside isn't conducive to training).

Surely someone on the forum has the computer skills to do this (unless you're one step ahead already?) you could also set up motion sensors on the ergo paddle so you see 'virtual arms' on the screen in time with your paddling.

Hi Alicat,

I'm only semi clever, I think you need to be very clever to pull off what you're talking about.

Any person anywhere can use a GPS and a GoPro and video their usual run. Send us your favourite flat water run with your best time on video via .zip file or on a USB stick, we can set the SUP Ergo up for the exact same distance and then race the video of your run to try and beat you.

Might be fun to race a different course.

We just bought a 40" Dick Smith TV delivered for about $358. Plug in the GoPro to the RCA inputs and set the screen in front of the Ergo. Transfer the moviefile to an SD card and pop it into the GoPro and select "TEL". Easy!

I plan to video a 500m sprint, a 1000m Sprint and a 10,000m run at my best pace, others can then come in and challenge my times. Better still, video your own best times over same distances and challenge us to beat your time.

Ergo fun!
