What are your favourite SUP Movies or movies with SUP in them,? Not videos on YouTube or Vimeo, but actual movies like H2Indo, The First Glide etc.

none, sup surfing wise- why watch sup surfing action when you can watch sh1thot asp pro's and free surfers going nuts on heaps of vids

sup surfing is like rugby union- better to actually play it then watch it

I thought The First Glide was atrocious. And I'll normally watch pretty much anything.

The problem that filmmakers face is that the sport is evolving so quickly that by the time the film comes out, it's going to seem dated.

Off topic I know (sorry), but watched "Uncharted Waters" on the plane back from Perth last week. Probably more for us older guys, but a good documentary on Wayne Lynch and well worth a watch if you are into the surf history type films.

This must be true. Because rugby union is unwatchable.

I quite liked Ultimate Wave Tahiti, mostly because of the 3D gimmick, some cool special effects, interesting info on wave energy, and Kelly Slater surfing and Raimana SUP surfing Teahupoo.

The best one ever was the one when my son filmed me with my dog out at Iso's me and the dog took off on a set wave and all the longboarders were abusing me, we made the drop and and were styling thru to the inside when the dog who was hanging 20 jumped straight off the front of the board and I ran straight over the top of him, I had to bail striaght away as he was the (ex)wifes designer cavoodle and I had to enact a resue. Now the old computer has crashed and been trashed and I never posted, clouded or did anything with that movie but thats my fave SUP movie.

Animal House. Not enough SUPing but the rest of the move makes up for it.
