Just a thanks to Jacko, Rod, Jake, the girl on the paddle clubby board, and the girl on the longboard for all your help today at Currumbin.

That boat would have sunk for sure, and there could have been some more serious consequences for the passengers unless everybody moved and worked as a team like they did.

All was good, but it does not take much to make a mild situation into a loss of life.

Just think of Baywatch, me as the hoff, Todd as pam all we needed was a fast ski to jump off and we could have made a move, stuff bondi rescue it will soon be SUP's to the rescue at the bin.

What happened will pretty much 4 people in a small tinny with enough stuff to last a month at sea got swamped as they were going out through the bar the boat was half under one guy was in the water trying to hold the boat straight so the waves would not flip it while a young boy and his mother and a fat guy stayed in the boat. We paddle over and took the young boy, mother (who could not swim) in to the beach on the paddle boards then paddle back out got the fat guy on to a cluby board because he was about to drown being so overweight and not a good swimmer then a surf lifesaver turned up on a jet ski(who is also a paddle boarder)and took the fat guy the rest off the way. We bailed some water out of the boat and got another tinny to tow it back in side the bar that's pretty much it.
All in a days work for SUP RESCUE!!!!

Not related to this post but I have a pic of what the Hoff would be on if Baywatch was to be filmed again these days.

In the US the surf life guards are using SUP's.

That is Chuck Patterson, legend tow surfer, SUP, LB, Short B and anything else in the water.

The board is made by Hobbie, for flat water I was told.
