New to SUP, and looking for some other rookies (or tolerant SUP riders!) around Newcastle/Central Coast/Port Stephens to get into the waves & practice some skills with.

No, I would not be offended should you feel the urge to laugh openly & loudly at my expense out in the surf

Any advice on the best spots around Newie to learn (i.e. easier breaks to paddle through/least chance of p!ssing everyone else off) would also be appreciated.
