Hi ML SUP'ers
Is there anywhere along the Yarra in the CBD I can rent a SUP? I am doing pretty regular work trips to ML and would love to go for a paddle in my down time while there.

A couple of the SUP schools have a permit to operate on the Yarra but I don't think they are using those permits these days, choosing to stick to the bay for the time being. So that's to say, to my knowledge, no-one is renting out SUPs on the Yarra. Your best bet is to get down to StKilda or Elwood which is not too far from the CBD, and the guys from SUP HQ (SUP Bus), the ZU, Kite Republic or Monkey Business can all take care of you. Likewise, a little further along the bay in Sandringham, Sandy Beach HQ will sort you out.

Thanks PT, will give St Kilda a try. I was hoping to stumble out of the hotel on the Yarra straight onto the water, but a trip to st Kilda is not to far.
