This happened right next to work, this person was seriously luck the SUP was there to help him out. They ended up with the police, ambos and then the careflight helicopter there, pretty cool for the kids to see the helicopter hovering over the creek.

Guy was "Bluey" from up here on the Sunny Coast, always out ski paddling at Mooloolaba, very lucky Blue.

Its a classic place. A few months ago myself, Travis, Dylan and Beau pulled a young bloke in a tinny off the bar and out past the break till help arrived to tow him in.
We have rescued people in tinnies, skis, OC6s, boards etc all the time, as well as ourselves now and again, Ha Ha
