Try Docks Locks. They work on the same principle and you can buy individual parts for securing multiple boards. I use them and they work great.
Obviously a deterrent and gets rid of opportunists. You know the old saying, if they really want it they will get it.
I also use additional security in the way of a 50kg German Shepherd but they are a bit more expensive
