Can we call Sunova Australian? That manufactures in Thailand..rather than an oversea's brand that manufactures in Thailand?

Interesting question .... Do you call Vegemite Australian even though it's not Australian owned anymore ?

Bert Berger the original WA boy & creator of Firewire has been shaping and selling boards in Australia since 1976 and only in recent years started to produce Sups under his Sunova brand which are manufactured offshore. So yes I’d call it an Australian brand ..... Australian made no.

JP Australia is the same started by Jason Polakow in Torquay and now manufactured overseas , no one has issues calling this Australian.

PSH Paddle Surf Hawaii shaped by Blane Chambers but made in China everyone called that 100% Hawaiian

Then you have companies like DEEP & DC Dale Chapman which are true 100 % Aussie made boards (except for DC/NSP)
