Hi Guys, I have (had) an EZ-Plug aftermarket handle on my board until this afternoon. Luckily, the drop to the ground was only small, and onto sand, but I need to fix it back on.
What is the best adhesive to puth this right. I believe the original fixture is sticky pads. Does anyone know where I can get these, or is there some more suitable glue I could use ?
Also my board (Oxbow Cruiser) has some wear and tear and some small dings around the rails. I've patched them with UV cure, but want to get the board looking like she should do, Does anyone know a repairer they could reccomend in the Cronulla area who can repair - including colour matching - SUP's. Alternatively, what is the best way to do this myself, I would be keen to have a go if I had a good idea how to make it look good.
Finally, I have a tiny chip on my paddle, should I use UV cure on this, It's a carbon Oxbow.
Cheers guys for any advice.
Jase.

The newer EZplugs don't have the peal off backing any more.. They come with some special glue in a small tube.
I recomend just using 5 minute Aroldite to glue it back on and if one plug is still holding I'd remove it and glue it also.
I didn't know any Oxbow's were carbon?

Thanks DJ, I'll get busy with the araldite. Both ends of the handle came off, so I'll clean them up and stick it back on.
My paddle is carbon fibre, just worried about the chip. Its at the point where the shaft meets the blade, om the edge.

One of the best glassers in the country is at Force 9 in Cronulla. Great with tints, etc. Try phoning first to ask if they will work with Epoxy.

IMO you also need to sand through the top paint coat to solid glass or on boards like the Vortice with a 2 pac it just pulls the paint off when you pick it up. Make sure you paint or reseal around the attachment points at both ends.
I personally dont like them, plugs are the way to go but each to thier own.
