Sparrow is the guy that has kept us warm through the Vico winters with his many years of wetsuit research & development at Ripcirl.
His new board is 7' 11" x 29" x 3 7/8" x 5.2kg

Damn
Tea Tree beat DJ by 3 minutes.
I thought DJ would "sense" there was a "Naish yellow" board around earlier than that.

Hey Dean,
How are you getting board so light, is it because of less weight in the low density eps? I'm assuming you are putting 1 x 6 oz on the bottom and 2 x 6oz on the deck?
Whats you're method glassing.....seal blank, laminate, filler, gloss coat????

I remember about 17 years ago Sparrow used to use yellow sails and yellow boards.

Was the yellow board his choice? If so, do you know why the yellow?

Are you guessing Sparrow is a light weight because of his nic name or the board size?
Sparrow is a light weight, & the board will do a 95kg rider.
