Ok well today Rich and I wanted to test out the Starboard 7'2 and the Penitrator 16

Starboard 7'2

We had to ask Nikita nicely if we could borrow her pride and joy to do some testing and she agreed

I was talking to Rich in the morning and said to him that last night I was able to paddle the starboard 7'2 in the river and he was amazed and wanted to 1 have a go himself and 2 see it happen as I am 105KG (see pics below)

Rich had no issues at all paddling the starboard 7'2 and later in the afternoon caught several waves at cozy corner with very little problems.

Matt Lumley ripped on SB 7'2 board including a nose ride and a Matacoper just to show that he is a total wizard. Had I not seen it I would never have believed it possible on this size board!

I didnt even try it in the surf laughs!

Rich was blown away by how well the board paddles and is now thinking 8ft for a new board!

I have seen Brooko on his 8'6 and knew how possible this all was but now have seen and done it as well!

16ft Penitrator (Full Carbon)

Well this is the mother of all boards see pics, only 1 words sums it up GLIDE. With one paddle stroke you could glide 10 - 15m it is truely a weapon! Until you try one of these boards you have no idea just how fast they are compared to a standard SUP! I now understand why Matt killed everyone in the Cerberus race.

They are not easy to balance on with the roll bottom by any means and in open ocean chop it would definitely be a test on long runs but you would also have speed on your side to balance things up!

You just have to try this at thedemo day if you get a chance!

This I guess wast the short and the tall of it lol
