There's no going back now.
Here's a pic for anyone who wondered how thick that wood on the deck is.
The plugs cost me about $5 each...and I ground the top lip off first.
Five minute Araldite is even what the experts use.
Almost done.
A bit rough but it's going to be under the deck grip.
I was only ever going to use it to carry my paddle and if you intend using them to carry the whole thing I can take you down to Oak surfboards.
Neil Oak will do it for you and put a layer of fiber glass in the hole first over it and that will make it super strong..and cost about $50.
If you're happy to do what I did I'd give you a hand with it.
