Looking at a sunjam paddle board. Does anyone know much about them and what's your opinion on them?

I looked at their site....looked like quite okay boards. Lots of info about their construction & pleasant to look at.
But probably if you buy something like a starboard & want to resell it later you would get much more for the SB than the sunjam

Yeh Im looking at the sunjam cost wise because I'm new to the sport but once I get better I was just gonna give it to the missus and prob look at starboard.

wasn't really referring to starboard as such...more meaning "well known board manufacturers"

If it's within your budget, you can stand and paddle it, it gets you out having fun on the water and resale value is not a big issue for you?..... then why not! Enjoy

I'm with SUPA get what you can afford and enjoy it. If you want to upgrade later on do so. At least if you start out on something you can afford you will have a lot of enjoyment. Give it a shot!!!!!

Hey mate,
Are you still looking into these boards?

I've ridden most of the boards in the range, and have yet to find one I dont like. I've ridden big name boards at demo days etc, and honestly I cant tell the difference...

What style of board you after? Surf or flat water, or all rounder?

If I was only going to have one board I'd got the 10' Bamboo. It paddles great and surfs with ease.

For surfing, I've got the 10' Warrior, quad fins. Surfs awesome! (and I'm sure the board is far more capable than me )

Currently demo'ing the a 9'6". Only been out once, seems to surf great. But I'm a bit big to paddle it any sort of distance.

The 10'6 Bamboo was great on the river. You can still surf on it in small waves.

I make demo vids of their boards, not quite done with the whole range yet, but heres a few to get you started:
