Surfing NSW have added a new entry amount for each SUP race division to be only $30.00.

The package of 5 races at $120 is still available if you wish. All entry options are below:

Why Enter?

Only $30 can give you chance to be involved in a festival of SUP, be crowned the NSW State Title Champion representing the State at the Australian Surf festival in August, family atmosphere for all to enjoy (Saturday and Sunday to have markets on d'Albora Marina), Free Demonstrations, lessons and ability to test boards all weekend and finally to win $$$$ in the technical sprint and elite marathon races.

This event is a 4 day festival which will see a combination of SUP Surfing and SUP racing contested in the Port Stephens area.

- Schedule: Thursday/Friday = Surf Competition and technical race



- Schedule: Saturday/Sunday = Race's at d'Albora Marina

It was a great event last year And if the surfing was on the weekend I would be there again, IMO most people enter these comps for a bit of fun and the organisers are doing themselves and the sport no favors by holding events during the week

and conditions, parking, access, fairly central, free bbq's

Beautiful up the Bay (Port Stephens) that time of year. You could make a nice holiday using the comp as an excuse to ask for time off work. Heaps of accomadation from camping to luxury appartments.

Port Stephens is a beautiful part of the world. We have had our family Xmas hols up there the past 5 years and don't plan to change for a few more years yet.

Dont think so mate. Sought of over the whole sup comp scene at the moment. It'll really depend on my working roster. U guys wouldve had some insane waves this week. Heard goldy is all time atm.

There's this new shop at the marina called BAY SUP, the only paddle board shop in the area.

They stock the full range of C4, FCS, GOPRO and Maui Jim sunnies, should check them out :)

Last years event was unreal and a great weekend to catch up with everyone spewing I am out this year.... But surfing in NZ ain't that bad!!
Everyone should try and surport sup events as best they can so we have events to go to.

Hopefully you can make it Appsy, I know it is hard for a lot of people now that it is mid week, myself included.

I reckon that the racing and surfing need to be on separate weekends.

The recent SUPA comp suffered big time with numbers (for the surfing) due to the mid week date.
