DNeck,
I come from a sailing background, but took up surfing (a mal) about 10 years ago.
I'm an absolute **** surfer (prone), and didn't have the time or fitness to get better at it.
Last surfed on holiday at Byron Bay 2 years ago, and stuffed my dodgy back completely. Decided the surfing had to go.
Took up SUPing as a result.
Bought the Nalu 10 6 as an all rounder last year, and still have it.
Have now got 5 boards to cope with family paddling, surfing, flat water training, downwinding.
It's strangley addictive this thing...
By chance I paddled my mal yesterday as we had it down the beach for the kids to mess around on.
After paddling it for 5 minutes I thought "what was I thinking when I bought this thing?"
Thankfully made it back to the beach before my back blew up again
