Hi all I am after some info on the 9'6 Surftech generator bamboo. I currently ride a 8'10 Sunova Skate and I am thinking of getting something with more of a longboard feel.

The only info I can find on the 9'6 surftech says it is suited to riders up to 80kgs with a volume of about 142ltrs. I am 90kgs and have no problems riding the 8'10 sunova with a volume of about 144ltrs.

Does anyone out there have a 9'6 generator who can give me any info?

I am also selling a 12'6 NSP coco mat race board if anyone is interested. Cheers.

Hi Barlo

the generator is one of the Surftech's "ALLTIME CLASSIC SHAPES" from US shaper Randy French.

The bamboo is an absolutely nuclear bombproof construction and has a pretty trendy looking gloss finish

But most of all .........the board rips "longboard style"

Its refined rail and rocker lines set it miles above and beyond many other "longboardstyle" boards out there in the big bad world

Smooth powerful carving turns and long tip time guaranteed

I dragged around a 9'6 AST generator for over 2 yrs in the Surftech Sup Circus van n trailer and the poor thing copped some thrashings from me and a horde of rabbies infested frothing punters along the way... and it is still going strong and hasn't even got a heal impression in the deck.... or a dig on it...... f@#ks me how it hasn't either

can't say all my demo boards are the same as I've had a few minor to semi major mishaps with a few in my travels........ lucky my boss's don't read this(fingers crossed) the cranky wicked slave drivers that they are

the generater shape comes in a few different finishes

Roxy for chicks
Bamboo for the hippies
AST for the budget crew.... that want a cheaper board that is still a top shelf shape and not something looking like it was shaped by a blind man with a blunt axe

rock on DogBallBreath

Thanks dogman, I am guessing it would take my 90kgs having a volume of 142ltrs? Do you have any idea of the stability compared to my sunova skate? Thanks mate.
