Just when I was starting to think my new 12' Naish Glide (when I get it) will maybe be a bit on the short side for racing and this morning I see these race results.

I know a kilometer is not that far in SUP race terms but still a surprising result...I wonder how many more sleeps before I get my Glide..

It was rather short, in the interest of safety. It started at about 2:40 pm and launched from the jetty inside the channel where people come and go from bowls. They basically sprinted to the last outside green buoy (approx 1/4 mile), made a turn and came back. We set up 2 buoys near the wall for them to paddle thru for the finish. We decided on 3 divisions. 12' and under, over 12', and age 17 and under, so the children would have a chance to win.
