Me and my mate Dan had a lumpy bumpy DY point to ourselves for 2 hours this morning, good fun with some over head sets. Made it onto real surf again, ha ha:

About 7am

By 9am it had doubled and is now showing 4-6 meters on a 9 sec period on the bouys and the wind has swung SW offshore! The swell should be heading north I would think - long weekend as well whooo hooo!

Nice one Goaty. You can thank me for that swell - as soon as I leave town it picks up! Just my luck. One foot dribble up here on the Goldy today.

shaaaawinggggg!!!!!

left minnie after lunch and saw it was building from the south fast looked like epic downwinder conditions

rocked up to yamba late arvo to play a gig

and saw the swell had built in size since when i left home

got a wedding on tomorrow so might get a early in before the op rum starts flowing by the pallet load

get out there dudes

the downwind conditioins were so good. Only went from warriewood to newport, then ran back to car. But getting out at warriewood was a mission that is for sure. Was great though..

im pretty sure he ordered a 8'9" x 28 x 4 1/4 LB as he pretty much copied my
8'8" x 27 15/16" x 4 1/4" DAN Co. SUP which he trys to steel whenever he gets the chance

Here it is! GOATIES new Laguna Bay!

We have worked with Tully to create a whole new model for the goat!

Must be something to do with all the media coverage he gets on REALSURF!

Looks great can't wait to pick it up on Friday, Tully has been so helpful getting this board to happen.

Hey Casso I will be up the Goldie on Friday and the surf forcast is saying 3 meter swell with south winds for 3 days

Have to catch up for a paddle.

It's going great. Geting some fun little waves at a few out of the way places. I didn't expect to come to the Goldy and be surfing good waves with nobody else out!

Yeah - looks like good swell and wind coming up. It's been fun so far anyway.

Definitely catch up for a paddle - I'm struggling to find people to SUP with. I didn't think anybody worked on the Goldy.

Seems some of them actually do.

Check this out! This is the live Sydney bouy data showing 6 - 12 meters at sea with a 12-14 sec period....

Too much wind ATM, but looking good for the morning. Hitting the Goldie tomorrow and it's on it's way up there

Would love to see it hook in for our club day. Mooloolaba is protected by that wind and swel like this creates a large but friendly SUP wave across the river mouth, over the bombie and into the bay.

Current graphs have it dropping off for us though

Lets hope they are wrong.
