Just like to thank DJ and all the crew for their great welcome and help for the last two days. It always makes a difference when you are welcomed into a group with a smile.Had a ball, never had 20 knots. Lots of face plants but great experience.Look forward to doing it again. Thanks Again guys.

Thanks and you're welcome Kev..

As you found out we are so lucky to have great DW conditions right on our doorstep.. and heaps of good friends to share it with.

I think you're hooked..

btw.. You might need to invest in a cheap inflatable PFD just in case we get checked out by our friends in blue.. Even the normal PFD's are very good because of the extra pockets.. extra warmth.. and you can slot your Cammelbak bladder in the back pocket.. I can show you what I have if you like.. I've got two normal PFD's (a red one and a yellow one.. both different designs) and an also an inflatable waist type (that I used both of those days you joined us).

Sorry I missed out on them, looking forward to more winter DW's. Advice re PFD's is if you don't think you will fall in use the inflatable one, however if you are like me and fall in (a lot) then a full PFD works really well as it also helps your head not going under as much.

I use an ultra ocean racer pfd on the ocean surf ski...works really well for sup too. Light weight, pocket for a bladder in the back and non restricting as it is cut away around your arms allowing plenty of movement.

Ps...that's not me in the pic
