We are on and thankfully they have made it a little later start to allow for the doctor to come to the table. I spoke to the ferry people this morning and apparently you aren't allowed to take your paddle on the ferry, you have to tape it to your board. They wont allow it on for safety reasons.

What was the outcome of the race - the silence is deafening.

Who won, how long did it take and what were the conditions like?

Did the quokka Arms get a work-over??

The Doctor video is up, due to the way the race was run i was unable to get much SUP but the start is there and you would be crazy to miss the artistic shot of Simon Dodd's rear while rigging up...hahah Some nice bumps and footage of the worlds best paddlers sure to be worth viewing. Hey even got to meet Greenroom.

Lot's of SUP stuff planned for this year so keep me stoked.

Thanks for posting the video Rambo. Even though there wasn't much sup in it, it was good to show my wife and kids a bit of what the conditions were like.

DJ, as i said in my post due to the way the race was run i was unable to get much SUP They started the SUP early and i had no access to a boat. It was hectic with an international production Co having priority as they were answerable to the major sponsor, the WA Gov, westernaustralia.com. I was just little old me up against 4 cameramen and a chopper and staying with Dale C and S. Dodd in a room was a challenge in itself. .... nah only kidding top blokes.

I have plans for SUP coming up and left my details with Starboard WA and other SUP promoters. I can only do what race organizers give me access to, it's their race.

Even tomorrow, at the King of the Coast, at the last minute they changed the SUP to a different start location 5k away from the main start, so that stuffed any SUP video plans.

Sorry DJ, i'll get you a fix soon promise. Starts with M.......ends in Function, starts with Noosa......... ends in Festival ........if they'll have me.
