hey mate, I surf up newport way and have been surfing a 9'1 demo board recently. it has the quad option. I am 6'2 and mid 80's and I can paddle it fine. it is super stable, and had some great drive and speed, whilst being pretty tight in the pocket. I am sure if you PM'd Sam she would be able to give you some more info.
