Mate I felt the same. but if you watch it a few times it really looks good.
It's the wrist strap camera pointed toward my inside. Just testing every thing out.

Mate that looks like a head ache. I have got the gopro on my paddle shaft it works really well. Used it this morning in crappy surf great angle. Just have to keep paddle steady on the waves but in big clean waves should be easy to use.
Blane chambers showed me how to fit it to to shaft. Yes he is a freak. Saaa

It's all about working out what works best and that's what I'm doing. A lot of hard work but I think I have got it now. By having the camera on the shaft,see how we go when the waves come up. Later

Absolutely no joke in my question - a waist level shot may give viewer(s) a sort of virtual ride along ..... I've thought of trying it at some stage & absolutely serious.

Why a waist cam when the chest cam does the same job but want get in the way if you have to lay down paddle?just angle it down a little.
