yeah hah, bring it on Will be down the beach at first light, although dont know if it would get around the corner to south west vic.

Was swimming and diving with a group of about 15 people when the real Tsunami hit indo, we were in south west wa , the ocean dropped went almost dry and bits of reef where sticking out in spots we had never seen before, when it came back in some of us got swept way out behind the reef with the strongest currents and rips we had ever felt. Scary stuff.

Looks like the Tsunami is nothing to worry about - just minutes after telling us to pack and head 1km inland we are back to dying of some infectious disease again - swine flu, bird flu, sars, ebola, aids.

Apparently a 20cm wave of death descended on the east coast and the resort islands. Sounds perfect for a SUP. Add that one to your bucket list.

1. Surf a tsunami. Tick
2. Drop in on Kelly Slater.
3. Get barrelled on a 14' SUP.

7.8 and i thought i was just pissed again

The bad thing here was only some got a wave of death warning

As i live next to the beach, this is no good enough It is said if the wave of death is on the way for people on the coast it will be too late to warn them.

What the ****..

I heard the alert before going to bed. Slight concern as my bed is only 1.5 meters above sea level.
Not too worried until the frigin thunderstorm started!
Every rumble sounded just like a wall of death sweeping across the bay.
Anyway I lived to tell the tale.
