Hi Guys,
I just thought I would post a quickie about the ULI Inflateable 11' SUP I bought my wife for Christmas.
I'm not big into the idea of SUP but the wife is. I hate the size, cost, fragility and transport/storage issues of the glass boards. When I heard SOS were stocking the ULI's I had to grab one for Tina.
Christmas day came with a large box under the tree and a paddle hidden behind the lounge. Big surprises! Rolled it out and pumped it up in the lounge room. It pumped to about 12 psi and became really rigid in about 4 minutes, it is a really surprising board. I like to know how things work and would love to see inside it to find out how they make them so damn rigid.
Yes it does flex a little bit, but only a small amount. It's tough, really tough. I dropped it several times on the concrete and it just bounced and didn't even leave a mark. We put it in the pool with the kids and the littleuns were all over it, jumping on it and crashing it into the brick pool edges, no issue! I inverted it and held one end high with her on top at the fins end, and used it as a slide for my 3.5 year old. SHe loved it, too much fun.

Took it to Hillarys today for the missus to have a go. She paddled it all around the harbour swim area with the littluns on board, she came back raving about how stable and easy to paddle it was. Said it took about 1/2 an hour to dial the stall/pivot turns etc, but she reckoned it felt fast and fun. Good enough for me!
Next test is in the waves. Stoked so far. And at the end of the day, simply twist the cap off, push the deflate button and roll it up under your arm and whack it in the back seat of the car. Sensational! Ticks all the boxes for us

Anyone else got one?
Happy paddling,
