Guys,
my girlfriend has just started supping, and is wanting to surf some smaller waves.
Where in vic can we go. Preferably within 2 hours of melb. Just looking for some smaller waves to have some fun in. Any ideas would be great. Thanks, Andy

Crunchies in Western Port, near Point Leo. High tide.

Cosy Corner, Torquay. Just below Point Danger which is the main point in
Torquay with the War Memorial.

There's 2 for a start. But the link Paul posted on the SUP Vic website lists
tonnes of spots, some suitable for beginners.

PRK and Pines have got to be the ultimate smallish SUP surf spot in Vic.

True but I wouldn't recommend Pines for a first time surf. Definitely the perfect setup but
more advanced surfers (just!) to annoy and SUP is already a discussion point down there.

Crunchies is also the most protected spot which means if there's a little wind then it won't
be too bumpy. Just lookout for the surf school. At least they wear halmets!

This time of year at's hard to avoid a crowd, just a matter of picking the one with the least people.
