New board arrived and i investigated the new goretex vent plug and manged to snap it. Yes a twat.
Turns out is an unusual size so shops NOR perth don't stock it. Until i can find the correct size what alternative temporary solutions does any one suggest? I fly out to work for a month on Saturaday so need to get the board wet before I leave.

Does anyone know where a can find a 11m or 7/16"thread goretex vent plug (or solid) for a gulliver V box?

Did you break the insert threaded bit or just the top of the plug.I have broken the top off a couple of plugs then you just look at the membrane , I think this still works ok until you get another one. Bought my last one from Shapers as previously mentioned .

The whole goretex part has come off so just left with a threaded tube. May have found a shop with something suitable.

For a temporary solution, plug it up with silicone and avoid extreme changes of temperature. The silicone has a fair bit of flex in it to handle minor temperature changes and you should be able to dig it out when you get a replacement.

Put a bit of foam under the silicone as a backing and make the silicone no more than 10mm thick.

Maybe do the silicone when it's cold so that it doesn't get sucked in and is more likely to get pushed out when it's warm.

I have done this on my hydrofoil mast so I know how much it expands and contracts due to temperature change. I haven't done it on a vent plug so I don't know if it will work on a board.
