I just got my copy of the WaterMan movie in the mail and..OMG... It's fantastic.

It's the best film that I've seen of this type... I hope they screen it here on the big screen like they did in the US.

There's a classic bit right at the end where they say.. Stay tuned for the next movie..'WaterGirl'...

..It's with Lairds daughter and after the credits.

I was able to watch it in a little home cinema set up at my best friends shop where he sells home cinema stuff.. The shop is called 'Sound Air'.

hey guys - sorry to revive an age old thread, but does anybody know where i can buy this DVD from on the Gold Coast ?? (no time to order it off the net or anything now)

There is someone here in Oz distributing it to surf shops now.. I'll try and find out who.. I got mine through Amazon.

I have the vid also...when my husband saw it he said it was filmed in the Mentawais 3 yrs ago. He and his mates were on a boat surfing trip also and Laird and those guys were moored next to them filming the whole time for this movie. Bit of trivia..

Taterchip...I've seen it in every surf shop I walk into lately.

Hmmm ok, i did the rounds at Pac Fair yesterday and couldn't find it there...

i'll be looking in some of the other smaller surf shops today, so hopefully your right.

Not sure that helps any.. I asked if they knew who distributes it and the kid on the phone didn't know.

They guys at their St Kilda shop would know but they're not there yet..Their number is. 03 9537 3222

Good luck finding it.. I'm sure surf shops up your way will have it.. It's a great movie.
