Could someone advise were in Sydney (preferably between Spit & Palm Beach) to get some minor repairs.

Hi John, and welcome, there should be someone on the Northern Beaches who does repairs, however if you get stuck, Cajun (KJN) in Taren Point are the guys to talk to down this way.
