I have read before that Sharks have sensitive receptors on the nose and belly. It looks like she was rubbing the nose to keep it in it's catatonic state.

As DJ says even with those gloves a shark that size would give you a pretty healthy love bite.

no dig intented, I read a bit about schizophrenia in the past that's all...
they should used hypnotic as people in catatonic state are awake not asleep as the article implies...
