Inflatable paddleboard is consumable and worn out on the water for a long time. They don't last very long.
If you're a paddleboard enthusiast, how long does your SUP board usually last?
Do you just throw it away after you use it? Or sell it? I think it does cause some waste.
We learn about one solution that can trade in the old for the new SUP. I think this method is environmentally friendly.

Sell them on,I don't keep boards that long ,as like to try different designs.I'm a one board quiver older surfer.But as I get older,I am tending to keep boards longer

My first SUP bought a decade ago is still my go-to. A Surftech Laird performance 10 x 27 shaped by Ron House. I can trust her in anything from 1' - 10'. So nice to ride I have never seen the point of moving her on. Also a tribute to the longevity of the original Surtech system.

Wish I had the resources to have bought more SUPs over the years. Unfortunately only another three, although I do fantasise about a 10' log noserider that performs as well as the Laird. Might wait to someone who compulsively follows trends sells a nice one on at a reasonable price.

Oh my goodness. I have sold off boards over the years but that 10' Laird 27" wide surftech is the one that I truly wish I had kept.

Your paddleboard really lasts a long time. This picture looks like it was bitten by a whale. Is your old girl okay?
There are a lot of round-nosed 10-foot paddles in the market. Are you considering changing to the new one?
I think you've grown very attached to your paddleboard.

So, try to contact your local associations and craft(wo)men, they may be able to re-use them

That's cool! These solutions are good. But I check this website (www.therainbowrevival.com/ ), It looks like they're just selling inflatable toys as bags, and the inside of the inflatable paddle board, which is a little bit more complicated than the inflatable toys, I'm not sure if it can be made into bags.

Totally on the old Ron House Laird performance model. Pretty much the board Laird introduced the world SUP by riding Teahupo'o. Some boards are keepers if not even the stuff of legend?

Similarly in my shortboard quiver my current go-to boards are a couple of Col Smith Freeflights shaped by Phil Myers. They have been around my neighbourhood since the late 70's and are still beautiful to ride.

I have seen an outside shower at a beach house using a hard sup board. Looked good. Hole drilled in top for spout
taps in middle of board.

I either keep 'em or sell on to buy anutha ! Got 6 x (hard )sups at moment (not into lilos) - 2 are all times faves/keepers-over 10 years old and solid Surftech technology too so agree with Surfer Shane A: both are Gerry Lopez shapes: an 8'11 and a 8'5 IN UltraFLX)... If I look after my gear.. then it's not gonna get into a landfill anytime soon...hopefully!

You should have chosen better.....have got Bic Wing 12'6.....Paddle Surf Hawaii 12'6 ripper....Naish 11'4.....Laird Surrator......not chucking any of them away
