Seems a bit hard to get any info out of them, so far it is only east coast dates that have been confirmed and from memory the Victorian round is the same weekend as the Dr. so could be some good paddlers missing.

In Vic they're calling it The Vic Open rather than the State titles I believe. I think Surfing Vic will run their State Titles. It should be the same across Oz considering Surfing Australia ran the AussieTitles.

Exactly right - the Peninsula Paddlers Club who are running the Vic Open of SUP decided to do away with all the confusion and divisiveness by simply changing the name of the event to Vic Open, thereby leaving Surfing Victoria to run the Victorian State Titles. Makes perfect sense and in the best interests of the sport. It's the right move for the competitors, it's the right move for the organisers, it's the right move for the sponsors. Everyone is on the same page, neither event is compromised, everyone is in full co-operation.

Surely the other states will do the same thing. Surely?!
