Both ways ... shut your eyes and envisage her going one way, then open them and she will be going that way. Well works for me anyway.

Clockwise or Anti Clockwise?

She was going clockwise before, now she's going anti-clockwise. Wish she'd make up her friggin' mind.

People say that, I have tried all of the tricks and she's clockwise for me all the time.

The test is apparently to demonstrate which side of your brain is most dominant. Left brain vs Right. I find this stuff interesting and also the personality type indicator stuff. If she spins clockwise you are right brain dominant and vice versa.

Google it for what it all means if you aren't aware of this stuff. Here's something I found www.heraldsun.com.au/nocookies?a=A.flavipes

Its amazing, I can.make it change direction.by either 'analysing it' which makes it turn ccw or think a bit more arty and it turn cw.

Very interesting!

Using this for personality testing was a bit of a myth that came about when it went viral a few years ago. It is an interesting optical illusion, and is more about the difference in visual perception than anything else. The direction has a lot to do with you seeing the figure from a slightly above or below viewpoint, if you have the viewpoint of being slightly above the figure it will go clockwise, if you are slightly below the figure it will go anti clockwise.

CMC, look at Myers-Briggs assessments if you are interested in personality typing, MBTI was adapted from the theories of Carl Jung and breaks people up into one of 16 preference types. It shows your preference for the way in which you might deal with situations, however I have found it to be pretty situational. That is if you did an assessment in a high stress work environment as opposed to at home on a weekend you may find you end up with a slightly different result... especially if you are borderline between two indicators.
