You should also consider the new 11'2"x32" Odysseus (my next board) because it also has a windsurfing option.

I have fun on my JP 10-2 all rounder sails really well. Nice and stable when you drop the sail and really easy to turn due narrow tail on the board.

Fanatic AllWaves are pretty good in the mid 9' sizes. JP, Naish, Starboard......all great options.

When considering WindSUPping I would advise that you use an Aluminium mast extension & not a carbon one. I would much rather sail in with a bent Ali extension that a broken carbon one. Have seen plenty snap.
