Then I hope you are troubled enough to do something about it. I hope you lend him your board.

Better still I hope you BUY him a board.

I hope you travel to the third world and in your travels meet people that can only dream of the life you lead.

I hope you are troubled enough to try and make a difference to their lives.

From my experience, a real happiness only emanates from a feeling of doing the right thing.

True happiness often manifests itself when you alleviate other peoples unhappiness.

Then I believe, you WILL have a happy New Year and there will be no need for me to wish it upon you.
