I would appreciate all Seabreezers comments on this frustrating problem we have with our sport.

We are in the final process of solving this problem and are starting a company called Ocean Sports Freight .Will email details once website is up and running.

With my passion for the sport and the ocean ,and my mates 14yrs + experiences in the freight bussiness and contacts around the world has allowed us to join forces and open up 2 offices one in Sydney ,Brisbane and soon one in Hawaii.

We are not just covering SUP's , but all watersports and can Import/Export 1 board to 100+ boards from anywhere in the world to any port in Australia. We offer a Door to Door service which includes Delivery, customs ,duties and insurance so you are only dealing with one company.

We also want to take the hassle out of competing overseas ,and worring about finding a board .We can have your board or boards delivered from your doorstep right to your hotel door ,so all you have to worry about is competing!
We see this as a big advantage as the sport is only going to get bigger and we all want to challenge ourselves. How much easier it would be turning upto the Maui to Molokai ,Battle of the Paddle or anyother watersport competition knowing that the board you have trained on is the one you will race on!

Thanks for any feedback ,positive/negitive and I hope we can provide a hassle free service to benefit us all.

I will be at this yr's Mambo ,if anyone wants to discuss this further.

Cheers

Sounds like a good idea to me. When I imported a board from Hawaii last time customs, freight etc was a hassle and really expensive - I'm sure it was cause I didn't know what I was doing.

Cheers guys thanks for the support .

If you can pm me with a bit more detail ,I'll see what we can come up with. The only problem is cost as the area you are going into is isolated.

Cheers

Your obviously talking air freight boylos, can you give us a quick run-down on costs
say Indo and Hawaii ? and how far in advance does the board need to travel ?

Great idea and I wish you all the very best.

We can do air freight ,but you have to realise the cost is a lot higher due to beinging a faster service. For example approx 5 day turn around from the USA .
We are targeting the sea freight side for a more cheaper service . example approx 55 day turn around via ship USA.
It's a bit hard to give you quotes for Indo /Hawaii as there's alot involved ,so just pm and I'll look into it for you.

We are over whelm with the responses and best wishes .....much appreciated

Cheers

The total weight for our group when we went to PNG was 500kg (10 people 14 boards) the Sups were a nightmare , when we do it again for the next movie we want to send the boards first. Can you also organise storage?

He would send the boards first and time it so that when you arrive ,we can either drop it off at your hotel or you can pick it up.

We don't do storage.
