This was a really solid wave and the short boarders on the inside were scratching long and hard to get out the back as fast as they could. When I saw Dean paddling out I thought he too was going to let it go.

Dean positioned himself well and took the drop on a bells freight train. The little 7'8 just clung to the face and he streaked along it at mack 5, ripped a bottom turn and slipped straight into the pocket.

He did get smashed at the end but man it was a crankin wave.

The photos compressed dont do it justice, it was a wave dreams are made of.

Yoda you got serious respect today!

Go get em.

Seems these boards work well in big little fast and slow waves Hmmmmmm fancy that.

Flip that burger and pass the sauce.

Hey Brooko,

It was torture watching from the beach, I so wanted to be out there!

It was almost like glass at times before the wind came up.

The sneak sets had some real size an lots of speed.

Yoda didnt give an inch and yup he did take some punishment and even broke his paddle in the shorey.

Man has balls
