Hi I am trying to find a board for my wife but not sure of what to get. She is around 55kg and a learner any suggestion would be appreciated

My missus is pretty new to SUP (as well as me...) and after an abortive attempt with a 'production' board i recently bought her a Naish Odysseus which she absolutely loves ? as does our 9-year-old son (looking at your avatar, this might be relevant). Well worth a look, super stable and easy to paddle plus they're not massively expensive!

Can't go wrong with a Fanatic Fly 10' 6" or 11'
Flat, Ocean, both, good board to learn on, stable & fun :-)
Naish 10'6" Nalu is another great board

+1 For the Fanatic Fly Allround and 10'6" Nalu. At 55kg's the 10'0" Fanatic Fly would be plenty of board and at 30" wide she will be doing hand-stands on it in no time

If you can see her taking the board in the surf or even taking it in the surf yourself, the 10'6" Naish Nalu is absolutely KILLER! The Nalu is a little more refined and is definitely more performance orientated, however this also means it has less volume I'm comparison. (this will not be an issue at her weight).

For mainly flat water and with the little one on the front, go the 10'0" Fly.

If you want more info, feel free to call me here at the shop (07) 5309 6624

Cheers,

Marcel
