Great idea although the Port Phillip Cup has a long tradition as our Australia Day event so if they plan to run it on the same day next year, that could be problematic.
Also.. that trip may be fun being pulled by a kite or sitting in a boat but in not ideal conditions you're looking at a 6hr (min) long hard slog on a stand up.
