this is NOT an anti pimp just a warning to my fellow breezers on the dangers of leaving your new PSH with the big black stripe down the middle any where near the sunlight for any amount of time. BUBBLES, just cannot stand to see awesome looking boards destroyed. tipping the big black stripe paint job on these boards will be gone soon.

yea you would think so but i know a poor bugger who put his board in the backyard, there was no sun out at the time, he wandered off and got distracted, the sun came back out and when he remembered what he had done the board could not even be touched it was that hot, about ten fair sized bubbles appeared.

I think the general rule is 'Dont buy a black board or one that has significant black colouring'. I recall a mate who had a custom black shortboard, looked awesome out of the water but as soon as a hint of sunshine came out it turned into a hot plate. the wax would just drip off it even on a mild day rendering it unsurfable.

Funny... I did a similar thing left it in the shade but it was soon sunny and it got a bit of a bake , it pulled around the stringer a little but went to back normal when it cooled Spoke to Andrew Allen about it and I think the next batch will have no black strip on the bottom so you can flip the board when it's left in the sun.

I actually own a mini mal with black rails and i cant even hang around and talk to people after a surf because the rails heat up to much.And i remember owning a town and country that the wax use to melt off the sticker.
