what do you need and how do you re- shape your current paddle?
I have a GSI carbon paddle and want to take the edges off to make its shape similar to the shaka puu paddle.

That should work ok.. Just get a hack saw and hack away.. Just copy the outline of a Shaka Pu'u and it should cut ok.. But if you expose a core material you will need to get it fiberglassed around the edge of the blade..Any surfboard repairer will be able to do that and it shouldn't cost much to have done.. Let us know how you go with it.
btw.. Having the blade outline of a Shaka Pu'u will not mean that it will paddle like a Shaka Pu'u.. there's much more to the Kialoa paddle's than the blade shape and when you try one you will see what I mean (or have you tried one?) but it's still worth doing I think.

I have tried one my dad has one. He wont swap!
I might order the methane for a xmas present.In the meantime I might cut the other one down.
