How good was today. Head high all day glassy.

I got hold of a Starboard 8'5 to test run and today was perfect for it. A little wobbly, but I found it easier to get out as the smaller board doesnt drag you back as much. Also there were a few hollow ones out there and its not as scary pulling in with the smaller board. Normally I pull in and get ready to wear the board again. I came so close to getting a perfect little barrell. (Got caught too high). It actually felt similar to my short board, which I thought was all crap when I heard people talking about it.

I want one.

Only thing is when summer comes around and we are back to one foot madness, I might like the extra glide of a longer board. I will have to worry about that when the time comes.

Anyone want to buy my 9'8?

How sweet are the 8'5 pocket rockets, I've had 1 since bout Feb, hard to go back to a longer board after riding this, stable, easy to get on waves, fast and loose, why would you bother with bigger boards

I dunno whether you would call 5'10 and 80kgs a dwarf, probably a lot of dwarfs would like to be that big! 8'5 is as good in 1 ft as 3ft, its starting to sound like a PSH

I'm looking for some garden pavingslabs.
Is it 34" or 36" wide?
