Hey Teatree,

The Casso Sucker Cam mount using the $8 Supa Cheap Auto Dent Puller is the go. Just remember to get a small float just in case it does get ripped off in a big wipe out.

Just use the mount that comes with it (the big black plastic one) and duct tape it in possition.. That's what me friend Pete does and it works great.

You can see it in this pic.

Hi DJ,

We have had a few people do the duct tape thing and they have found it can be like removing rail tape it peels the paint of the board.

We have tried the the stick on white disc mount supplied with the cam and they snap off even in small wipe outs.

The small suction mount works ok in small surf but you must attach a float or you will definitely lose the camera to the bottom.

If you fit the FCS fin plug you void warrantee in most boards unless you get a custome and they fit it when the board is made.

The Casso sucker cam mount is the one we have had most sucess with even up to OH++.

The key is ensure you clean the area of all wax, sand etc first and make sure you stick it to a flat surface.

Even the sucker mounts dont work well on domed decks or the Surf Shapes textured deck as Brooko can tell you.

We tried fitting them to LSD's board but you would need to put a sticker on it first to create a flat surface due to the hi tech anti slip castor finish.

In practice you can still end up doing more recovery swimming than surfing.

Regards

Phill

Adventure Cams advertise on eBay and they have a simple harness you wear across your chest. The GoPro attaches to the harness. Seems strong but i don't know about the comfort aspect.

I may get one though as I don't fancy drilling into the Mana just to mount a camera I will use from time to time.
