It's a nasty place.. I was there the other day (tue) and it was about two to three meters.. and closing out.. I didn't go out.

I've broken enough bones there.

Windy as DJ says nasty place in wrong conditions!

Surfed a mal there a few times and had my ass handed to me a few times too, I have never taken out the sup there though!

Stay safe and well.

Hey Windy,

We need to catch up for some waves. I'm thinking of heading down the east coast in the morning and hopefully paddle to an unpopulated bank somewhere around the main breaks down that way.

Are you heading back down over the weekend?

dunno if the the swell will be any cop anywhere else., if its the same as yesterday..

i went out to flinders after gunamatta and there was barely a wave . even on the low tide.

gunamatta was pumping on low - but crowded. on a friday.

i was thinking of heading over to phil OG country on sunday,,, but i'm guessing crowd factor will be an arse pain there as well....... bloody holiday makers.

none of this pulling out into a deep channel off a nice reefy...WE ALL NEED A GOOD PUMELLING ON A NASTY BEACHY EVERYNOW AND THEN

Windy if you must surf Gunna, you have to go down the beach to the left of the lefthand car park a good half a k' or more. On some days when the banks are right you can get a much better graded sea bottom shape with some nice channels to get out the back a little easier.Having said that there are better waves else where you don't have to put without the sh!t you had today.Cheers
