kelly and mick trained this morning, we all wished them luck in the naish race and the molokai teams race- go hard lads

Who are the favourites for this years race , the usual suspects or are we going to see a smokey. A good quinella would have to be Dave Kalama and Connor Baxter.

Word is that Connor is doing the 12'6" class for the race, so will be interesting to see who takes out the unlimited and whether anyone can challenge Connor I'm the stock class. I think BOP might be the only race he's done and hasn't won this year!

Connor could paddle Maliko on an 8ft surf Sup and still beat most of the crew out there.
16km might feel like a long way for flatwater or the less than ideal conditions we get at home, but with good wind behind you, you can just surf the whole way and come in feeling like you've only paddled half that distance or even less.
