oh no I know what that's like, did the same recently. mine did turn up after 3 weeks. The guy who found it said I should have put an add in the Margs Mail (local paper) in the 'lost and found section' as he was looking there for the owner.....good luck.

thanks guys. good idea about the paper, dee jay.. have tried just about every other avenue already: drove round looking, went to every carpark btwn grunters and rivermth.. left message with lifeguards, at prev store noticebd, all town noticebds, asked all surf shops, texted evryone i know who surfs, facebooked, seabreezed.. now the papers.
p.s. someone flashed their lights at me on my way into town going past wooditch.. i thought it was because there were cops, but i think it could have been the paddleboard coming off. drove into town then realised.. i think it was a dark coloured 4wd or similar, with spotties and maybe some other special lights on the roof? went past pretty fast

Yeah I left before Tim, Hi Tim I was the fat guy that kept falling off! I'm sure it won't make you feel any better but you were Grunters' second victim that morning. Before you came out another bloke lost his paddle after a wipeout. I don't think he found it.

stoked- i got it back! someone propped it up againsta a tree and then someone else who knew us took it home.. had been at theirs for a few days.. ding in the tail and thats all :) .. got some beauties this morn. 1st thing @ grunters on it. woohoo!

Gold! Well, my ABC's saved myself a paddle yesterday actually. Car was in reverse, "hang-on, do a quick check". I knew the board was strapped, but sure enough the paddle was on the grass still.

We all forget the basics sometimes. Even the Aussie Test Batsmen have had a camp, with the thought of getting back to basics.
