These are a very nice paddle to use, light and pretty forgiving. There is a "star touch" style grip stuff on the shaft and handle that are a very nice touch...grippy when wet but not hard on the hands.

Quick blade freak. Had no problems with them.

We sell them they are a great intermediate paddle, good for surf, race or general paddling.
Out of the 80 or so we have sold this season we have not had one returned due to breakage or warranty, they come with a paddle edge guard which is worth fitting to prevent getting cracks on the edge due to reef etc.
As Janbruun said the QB's are just unreal and exactly what we paddle with, but for value for money the Fanatic 80%, gets you a lot of paddle for not a lot of dosh!

What he said. I have a Fanatic 80 and use it in the surf and for longer distance flat water stuff. Couldnt be happier with it. Best value paddle going around I reckon

My first preference is for a Kialoa always has been always will be the oval shaft allows me so much more control, however in a mid priced paddle I too agree that the Fanatic is real value for money.

I agree with Phil.. If you can afford to pay more for a better paddle, do it.. But for a value for money paddle that Fanatic paddle seems very good.

I have a Mike Fry and its awesome. Bit heavy compared to full carbon but nice with the wooden blade and handle. Just my two cents worth
