I'll ask JB when he get here tonight and let you know, you can come up anytime and go for a ride on the 9'6 or wait until the 9'3 and glide arrive and come up and try the lot.
Looks like the weekend will be fun with paddle boards on sat and kites and paddle boards on Sunday along with a bbq and some drinks.

I have a very small first sample order arriving in about a month or so, but full stock will be around October-ish. Please get your orders in quick, as this board is very popular.

Yes Scotty I want one.. ..and plan to get one.

I think it would be a perfect board for those long flat water trips like our island crossing..I'd love to paddle around French Island one day.

I'd like to get into racing also as long as they have an 'Old Fart' section..I'm also keen to do more down winders and it would be a great board for that.

My plan is for a two board quiver..So I can use them for taking my daughter or friends for a paddle..and I think the 11'4" and the Glide would be perfect.

I'm not sure about price but the first ones are due about Sept/Oct.

Yeah, great combo - I have the 12'6" and 11'2" Starboards and use them about 50:50. Thought it was the perfect two board quiver until that 9 footish itch got started. Are there any specs/pictures of the 9'3" Naish around?

DJ,

In one of the other threads on the Glide, Sam from Wind Surf n Snow said the price would be comparable to the other models. It actually looks smaller than the 11'6", I'm guessing under 200 litres.

Jonathan the new Naish 9'3" is 29 1/2" x 4 1/4".

It's a square or squash tail without fliers like the 9'6".

It looks great and JB has used one even at his weight.

He said he's planning another demo day in the future and next time he'll have the 9'3" and the Glide.

Hi SF,

I was a little out on my price prediction. The materials are the same but they are put together differently given the more limited production of the Gun and Glide. As a result of this they will be priced in the 2's with final pricing announced pretty soon.

Demos should be in store towards the end of next month with stock a month later.

Sam.

Wow all this glide talk has me drooling for one. I hope they have one to demo in Adelaide later this year, definately looks like the next board i could have. DJ's idea of a two board quiver consisting of the 11'4 and glide would suit me aorund here to a tee. Maybe we can catch up later in the year Scottymac when my missus has popped out the little one and i could bludge a ride off your's

For sure. It would be great to meet and go for a paddle. Not many others here riding at this stage so I would enjoy the company.

I just has a look at the C4 Australia site and they have the Vortice listed at $2295. That's tough competition for the Glide. At 14' long and 27" wide the Vortice is likely to be faster.

It's hard to find anything on the internet about the new Naish Glide..and I've been looking..

Just found this interesting pic taken at the Naish race.

Looks like Robby checking out a new board..The board has a fin similar to my new Naish 11'4".

Interesting woody end pieces on the nose and tail.

Hmmmm...I wonder...What do you think JB?
