Has anyone had trouble with deck caving in on oxbow 10? used 5 times.

Are we talking..'compression dents' on the deck ?

Yeah i have had similar issues annd have seen this on other boards, including glass longboards.

I put on a deckpad from standuppaddlesurf.com.au and it is perfect now. I highly recommend the deckpads anyway. Much more comfy as your warm feet push the wax around too much.

The overall construction of the Oxbow is pretty good though. Really tough construction and very light. doesn't take a beating from the paddle like other epoxy boards.

I ride the 11' and love it from 1ft to 7ft.

Hey Pykey,

Will take a better look at our demo 10 footer when it comes back in but from memory it was still pretty sweet after about 4 months of almost every morning paddling. Has been used it's whole life with a deck pad though which can make a big difference.

If you're not sure about how it's hanging in there the Bic Sport guys who bring them in to the country are a good group who will look after you if its out of the ordinary.
