i think i may have scored the day off tomorrow..

thinking about making the pilgrimage over the westgate....

is there any chance of glass / near glass on offer with these fronts coming through...

hows was the dawn sesh over there today

also looking for a bit of protection from that monster swell , 5.6 at portland ,,, a mere shoulder to head n half on the face would be nice 4 me

or should i head down to western port...

argh decisions decisions

any local knowedge greatly appreciated, i promise i wont drop in,, keen to meet some fellow vic suppers... all my seshs have so far been solo, constant circle work on glassy peelers,,, not sure if that is good or bad thing

Is on the east coast and is protected from Westerly Winds due to the huge cliffs on almost three sides, It needs a big swell for it to work and is only good on the high tide. It's a bit of a hike to get there - just under a 2 hour drive from Melbourne.

Hey Windy,

The waves on the surf coast are great to EPIC at the moment. Kristi and I had an awsome after work surf at a little place we call "Session Reef"

It was shoulder high to 1.5 OH and peeling wooooooooooo hooooooooooo.

Kristi totally smoked the boys in the line up, I would hate to be thier egos lol.
We wondered how the pink weapon would go in bigger surf, well it just kicks serious ass lol.

Tomorrow the swell is strengthening.

PRK is a possiblity and the impossible place will be epic.

I'm going to try get a crew together for a paddle tomorrow arvo.

I'm going to head to the Pines and paddle up to the next point where it should be sheltered and clean. Should by roughly chest to head high. There is a long right hander and a medium length bowly left. I will be down there around 3:15pm for a 3:30pm start for mid tide in-coming.

My feeling is wind will moderate rapidly in the arvo and should hopefully go more NW. Swell is expected to pickup a bit later as well. Looking good!

Any takers? Also if we're lucky we might get Atlas/Pines not too busy but I doubt it.
